If an owner needs to cancel your booking, they should do it through Getmyboat so that our support team is aware of the cancellation. You may also contact us via phone or email and let us know the boat owner has decided to cancel.
When a booking is canceled by the owner, you will be issued a full refund including our service fees and receive an email confirming the cancellation.
We never like to hear about an owner canceling on a customer, but sometimes things come up where this happens. Getmyboat is not responsible for cancellations by owners, but we are more than happy to quickly process a refund as needed.
Please note that if the cancellation is made in person, and we are not contacted (either by email, phone, or by canceling the booking through the platform) then Getmyboat will not be aware of the cancellation and can not issue a refund.
