The booking transaction must be kept on the GetMyBoat platform. Any attempt to go off the platform by either party may result in a temporary or permanent suspension. That includes offers to pay in cash or only paying a portion of the booking through GetMyBoat.
When customers and owners go off our platform, we're not able to provide identity verifications, additional security measures, refunds, or fraud prevention. By using the GetMyBoat platform, you benefit from these added protections.
Both customers and owners cannot share contact information until a booking is confirmed through GetMyBoat.
If an owner has asked you to "go offline," or to take payment and/or conversation off GetMyBoat's platform, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
