How does tipping work?

As with most service-related industries, tipping is up to you. It should be noted that for boat charters, tipping 10%-20% is customary. While the boat captain is responsible for offering a safe ride and navigating the waters with ease, he or she is also providing an experience and a service to you. It's up to you as the customer to decide what you want to tip. 

Tipping should be handled by paying the captain or owner in cash and in person. GetMyBoat currently does not have a way to add-on a tip post booking. We do hope to potentially add this feature down the road.
