How do I file a claim for my deposit / incidental coverage limit with GetMyBoat?
If you feel a claim for your deposit (now known as the incidental coverage limit) is warranted and valid, you must notify us by emailing into firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of the boat return to file a claim. GetMyBoat will help with resolving this claim which may include contacting the renter to charge them under your incidental coverage limit.
Please note that GetMyBoat will require some documentation from you for any claim made, namely any photos, contracts, agreements, walk-through inspections, estimates, quotes, receipts or any other type of documentation that may be helpful.
If GetMyBoat cannot verify your claim, you may not be issued the deposit. Please note that GetMyBoat tries to have claims resolved within a week but sometimes resolutions may take longer.
