What if a customer does not show up for their booking?
If your guests do not show up for the trip, we recommend first attempting to contact them to see if there's a delay or a reason they are not where they need to be. Sometimes directions are wrong or guests are in the wrong location or they're simply stuck in traffic. Reaching directly out to the customer via phone/text/email is encouraged and can easily resolve the problem.
If you still can't get ahold of the guests, you should then contact GetMyBoat to make us aware of the situation. We can see if the customer attempted to contact us to inform us of any last minute cancellation or delay. We will also attempt to get in contact with the guests.
If the guest does not show up and is not able to be reached, GetMyBoat will honor the cancellation policy set in your listing at the time that the booking was confirmed. To receive the funds from the cancellation fee, your payout information must be entered in your account. The payout will be issued after what would have been the completion of the rental.
