Getmyboat Charge can be used to process payments for all of your trip add-ons that come from your Getmyboat bookings. Use Charge to up-sell add-ons to your renters and process common repeat expenses that come with your boat rental operation. Plus you can now reconcile all of these against specific trips to track everything in one place, one platform one payment processor.
How do I request an additional payment using Charge?
Simply go to "charge" in the main menu and select "Add-On" from the menu. Once selected you will be able to choose which trip the payment is for. You can then add a category, memo and price, and send directly to your customer.
Does the renter/charterer need a Getmyboat account?
No, the renter can checkout as a guest, create a new account or, if they already have a Getmyboat account with the email address associated, they will be asked to login with their existing Getmyboat credentials. They will then be able to pay immediately with their existing credit card information used to book the trip.
What are the final fees for owner and renter?
13% for the renter, 10% for the owner.
What can I use this for?
