We are all here to support and develop the global boat rental community. We suspend or remove users whose behavior is counter-productive to this goal.
A fast response is a good response. Speed of response and successful transactions go hand in hand. Respond to all messages, inquiries and offers as quick as possible. Clear and timely communication helps everyone plan better.
Pay through the platform.
We recommend that you do not ask or agree to pay or be paid for anything outside our platform. If you do pay outside GetMyBoat we cannot protect your payments or assist with refunds and claims. Some rentals require temporary security deposits to be held for the duration of the rental. While it usually works out ok, if you agree to do so off platform you assume the risk. You can always request the other party to make or accept any payment through GetMyBoat.
All boat operators are responsible for knowing and obeying the rules and regulations that apply in the local areas and waterways they use. Boat operators are responsible for the safety and compliance of their passengers, the vessel, themselves and fellow boaters. Never compromise on safety or compliance.
What we’ll do.
We reserve the right to remove comments that breach these guidelines and suspend or ban users who breach them repeatedly or intentionally. We take a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination.
