From end-to-end, we have dedicated our work to building a platform free of unlawful discrimination, bias, intolerance, and disrespect so that people worldwide can enjoy the water. We welcome community members of all backgrounds.
Getmyboat boat owners and tour operators may not:
- Decline a user’s inquiry based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
- Cancel a booking based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
- Require different terms or conditions for bookings based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
- Post any statement or imagery relating to a preference for or against a user based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
Boat owners and tour operators who show a pattern of declining guests or canceling bookings from guests of one of these protected classes may be suspended from Getmyboat, even if the reasons are seemingly legitimate.
If a listing on Getmyboat contains language or imagery contrary to our nondiscrimination policy, the boat owner or operator will be asked to remove this material and review the non-discrimination policy.
Boat owners and tour operators are also not allowed to use language or imagery in communication with Getmyboat customer support or on the platform that indicates unlawful bias, discrimination, intolerance, or harassment.
We maintain the right to suspend or remove the owner from our platform.
