Add-on Products
Owners can add Required and Optional Add-Ons to their listings to clearly show what is included in a trip and allow renters to customize their booking. Required Add-Ons ensure renters see the total cost of a trip upfront, while Optional add-ons allow renters to select extra items or experiences during checkout.
Required Add-Ons
Required Add-Ons are charges that apply to every booking and are automatically included in the trip price.
Common examples include:
- Fuel fees
- Docking fees
- Cleaning fees
- Captain gratuity
These fees appear in the price breakdown for every booking and cannot be removed by renters.
Variable costs
If a fee varies depending on the trip (for example fuel), we recommend adding an estimated flat rate per hour or per trip.
Example:
- Fuel Fee – $75 per hour
- Fuel Fee – $300 per trip
Optional Add-Ons
Optional add-ons are extras renters can choose to include during checkout.
Examples include:
- Floating mats or inflatables
- Coolers with ice
- Jet skis
- Catering or drinks
- Fishing gear
These options allow renters to customize their trip experience while helping owners increase the value of each booking.
