Automatic Double Booking Protection
If you list your boats on both Getmyboat and Boatsetter, your calendars are now automatically kept in sync.
This feature is already active on your account. There is nothing to set up.
How it works
- You update a boat's calendar or a booking is confirmed on Getmyboat or Boatsetter.
- Within minutes, that date and time is automatically blocked on the other platform.
- If a renter cancels, the calendar unblocks on both platforms.
- All existing confirmed bookings have already been added to your calendar.

Frequently asked questions
- Is there any additional fee for this feature?
No. Automatic Double Booking Protection is included at no extra cost.
- Does this sync my Google Calendar or other reservation systems?
Not at this time. The feature is built specifically to sync bookings between your Getmyboat and Boatsetter accounts.
- Does it sync my pricing too?
No, pricing is managed separately on each platform. Since Getmyboat and Boatsetter now have aligned fees, we recommend setting matching prices on both to keep things consistent for renters.
- Is it syncing my full availability, or just confirmed bookings?
It blocks time for confirmed bookings and manual blocks. Also, please do keep in mind it takes into account buffer times within your Boatsetter account.
- How quickly does the calendar update after a change is made or (adding) a booking is confirmed?
The block appears on the other platform within minutes of a booking being confirmed.
- How quickly does it unblock after a cancellation?
Typically within a few minutes. If you have a Google calendar synced with your listing, you must manually remove cancelled bookings from that calendar. This prevents a sync issue between your Getmyboat and Boatsetter listings. The Google calendar sync only adds events to your Google Calendar; it cannot remove events.
- My boats aren't matched up correctly. What should I do?

- I don't want this feature on one of my boats. Can I turn it off?
Not directly in your account settings. Email sales@getmyboat.com and we can remove the feature for specific listings.
- I'm listed on one platform but not both. Does this apply to me?
This feature only applies to boats listed on both Getmyboat and Boatsetter. If you'd like to list on both platforms, email sales@getmyboat.com and we'll get you set up.
- How do I get this feature added?
If you are already listed and active on both platforms, we have done our best to match your listings up and get you set up. If you wish to add more listings, or don’t see this feature, just email sales@getmyboat.com and we will get it working
